UKARA was set up to fight the restrictions contained in the Violent Crime Reduction Bill, which became law in November 2006. The Act will place very specific restrictions on the sale, manufacture & importation of realistic imitation firearms and along with the Association of British Airsoft and the United Kingdom Airsoft Sites Governing Body, UKARA has been working hard to obtain an exemption for airsoft skirmishers. This exemption has now been granted, and we are in the process of discussing with the Government exactly what the practical implications are.

UKARA will continue to represent the views and interests of airsoft retailers throughout the United Kingdom to ensure that they fully comply with the new regulations and restrictions, and that their voice is heard.
