UKARA was formed to help build a case against the banning of Replica Imitation Firearms as proposed in the VCR Bill and then went on to create a central registration system for UKARA sites and players to help members of those sites to work within the VCR Act.
Item 1
· It was agreed that UKARA is a Trade organisation and not a Police Force.
· Any issues relating to the breaking of UK laws should be dealt with by the judicial system and NOT by UKARA.
· UKARAs rules are in place to control the registration system and its use.
Item 2
· UKARA have decided to allow sites to access the central database.
· By the end of April 2008 each registered site will be given a login to the database.
· Each site will only be able to view its own players.
· Each site will be able to amend certain player details and extend the expiry date of players registered with their site.
· This access will allow sites to check to that all players listed are correct.
· Sites should report to UKARA any players that they do not recognise as their members and UKARA will then be able to investigate.
· All updates of data are logged so changes can be tracked.
